The Holidays...

...They are so stressful, yet fun. I love yet hate the month of December. There is so much going on, and never enough time. I do love getting Christmas cards though. It's nice to see how people have been doing over the year, and to hear the great things that they did. My cousin Sheryl's is the best so far. The girl went to a concert every month out of the year, went skydiving, and a ton more. I am so happy that she seems to be doing so well.

Apart from the busy season I do miss those family members which cannot be here. Rachel, Chris, Gyselle, Robbie, Christi, Faith, Alexis, and Baby. I miss you all so much!

I am not complaining about the holidays...This year I get to experience how every grown up does. As a kid you do not realize how much really goes into Christmas, and what all it entails. As a parent you want to make your kids happy, so you do everything you can, especially financially to make it happen.

I read an article in People magazine (yes I know...lol...im silly) but it was how actress Reese Witherspoon does Christmas with her kids. She has them all make out a list of the things they really want and the one thing they think they can't live without, she makes copies and has the kids mail them to "Santa" and then only get one present. If it is too big they might not get it because it might not fit into Santa's Sleigh. I thought that was kinda cute...

...Anyways...Happy Holidays everyone and Merry Christmas!!

Our First Blog...

...well friends, this is the new Hoyt blog spot, here you will be kept updated about us and see pictures as well.

I am very excited for Christmas and can't wait to watch Rylan open his presents, Christmas is a hundred times more fun when you have kids, broke or not...haha...Since it is Randy and I's first Christmas married together, I thought it would be fun to start some of our own holiday traditions, so if you have any you would like to share I would love to hear them.

Well...I am afraid this is it for now, until next time....
